During the college’s first event to observe Law Day, established by Congress in 1961, speakers will offer three presentations dealing with issues of law as they pertain to modern life. “First Amendment – Friend or Foe” by attorney Russell Waldon will maintain the music-recording industry uses gangster rap to manipulate and profit. This comes just weeks after defenders of shock-jock Don Imus, ousted by networks over racist remarks, point to the racist elements of some rap music. The second discussion, by Nicole E.
